Arrow of Light Cupcakes for Lil' E's Arrow of Light Cross over.
I love to make cakes. I am by no means a professional, but I don't think I am half bad. What really matters is the reaction on my kids' face when they see their cake for the first time. It makes the hours of labor worth it all.

Lego Birthday Cake
Got a Lego lover in your home? Here is a super fun cake. The Lego blocks were made with modeling chocolates poured into Lego molds. The Lego tiles on the cake were just fondant. The cake plate was covered in fondant that was pressed by a Lego mat.
Love this Lego loving kiddo

40th Hawaiian Cake
Happy 40th to my sister. Per request of her husband. He wanted a Hawaiian cake so he could surprise her with a trip to Hawaii. Thanks to my Aunt I got to try my hand at her airbrush machine. It was fun adding the extra depth to the flowers and leaves and creating the bamboo.
Oh and just for the record. Don't put your cakes into a mini refrigerator and turn the temp down. I learned this the hard way and we had a puddle of water on the back side of the cake. Luckily it didn't ruin it from the front and it was just melted ice on the fondant that was taken off anyways on a small portion of the cake. So glad this didn't happen to me with a customer.

Missionary White Shirt Cake
I am about to show my age. After I graduated from high school my first church calling ( assignment) was the teacher of the Sunbeams. This was the 3 year old class in the primary. Well one of my Sunbeams is now getting ready to leave for a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This was the cake I made for his mission farewell open house. Everything on the cake is edible including the missionary tag, The Book of Mormon, and the Called to Serve.

White and Purple Tiered Cake

We had a talent/variety show at church not to long ago. I really wanted to make a cake. There are people who know I make cakes, but for the most part alot of people didn't know. Here is what I came up with. Cake covered in fondant and piped in white. Then fondant flowers with purple fondant centers covered in purple sanding sugar.

Spider-man Cake Pops
I have found a new love for cake pops. Let me just tell you how absolutely fun they are. I recently had a friend ask me if I would make her 18 Spider-man cake pops for her son's 5th birthday and here are the results. They are larger than most cake pops. They take about 3 or 4 bites to eat them. Hopefully in the future I can add a tutorial to my page. However, there are some great tutorials out there.
